The Franco-British Comparative Project promotes a closer understanding between French and British students as well as academics. It aims to achieve this, on the one hand, by promoting debates and, on the other hand, by helping prospective students to cross the Channel. These discussions between students, young scholars and professionals have a broad scope and address questions from various fields, ranging from politics and economics to social or even scientific issues.
The Comparative Project was founded in 2008, as a project of intellectual discussion open to all. It promotes the exchange of opinions, ideas and advice while respecting cultural and individual differences. The FBCP also aims to have a convivial approach by hosting academic, intellectual but also gastronomical events.
Our various debates explore different formats such as the Square Debate on European issues, the Cordial Debate Prize (written debate competition) & the Franco British Student Debate (Paris V-FDA)
